FYIsoft methods of integration:
FYIsoft financial report writer requires your general ledger data to be in a particular format so that it can read the data. FYIsoft has developed products called ConnectFYI and DirectConnectFYI which provides different methods of integration; the integration method depends on the general ledger system that is being integrated.
The four methods are:
- Direct Integration via API integration. This is available for Cloud ERP systems only.
- Direct Integration via Views. This uses a combination of ConnectFYI RDM tables and views that puts your general ledger data into a view that ReportFYI recognizes.
- Direct Integration via Triggers. This uses a combination of ConnectFYI RDM tables and Triggers. The Triggers are installed on the source general ledger and when a user performs various activities the triggers will insert the required data into the RDM database in the required format.
- Report Data Mart “RDM” that utilizes ConnectFYI to map the tables in your general ledger system to populate the RDM.
