
Things we initially tried:
Different browsers (Chrome / Edge – no others installed on the server)
Opened IIS Manager and tried to browse to the sites.
Did a stop and start of the sites.
Did a stop and start of the App Pools
Did an IISRESET
Checked and verified that our service was running
Did a full reboot of the server
Tried the site with the IP address instead of “localhost”
Resolution:
The customer IT team resolved the issue when they realized that they had disabled the www.service. After restarting that service, the users were able to access our applications
